Now I can consider making my market
Joking... I'll focus most probably on one.
A great list anyway |
I'm sure it's one of the limited ones. Maybe a 1 of 10! |
No,no , a long love affair, but I need to get the specs to compare with one I already have and of which I'm so happy. |
A wild guess. A '63 Strat? |
Oh Boy, no... |

Well I certainly know which guitar is in your collection. We have something in common there. Now I don't have to kill the weekend.
Which guitar have they centered on for this project? There are two in the artist's history. The original, and its replacement? Do you know?
I got nothing back from Mike on my pointed question. _________________ "I wish I was where I was, when I wished I was where I am now!" |

I haven't the faintest idea.
I thought the original had been stolen thus the replacement which "might have" been used as a template for a previous Ltd. |

Caleb...It's the HOLLY! Alain has the "Buddy" Fender did a limited production on . You'll find it in the collection photos. That's a '58 dead ringer for the guitar I once owned. My question revolves around whether the project will center on HOLLY's original, which I believe was a '56 two-tone burst, and was stolen, or the April '58 replacement which John Page restored. _________________ "I wish I was where I was, when I wished I was where I am now!" |

I observed in that JP thread that I did not particularly like the sunburst on that guitar. I think your "Buddy" has it dimed, and unless there's something pretty unique coming in this project, might not be worth the consideration.
What's the neck profile on the Buddy.? _________________ "I wish I was where I was, when I wished I was where I am now!" |

In retrospect, having done this one often, the bell should have rung sooner ....but it's not really one of his signature songs.
So I expect that, if Alain DOES ever order the damn thing, instead of "soon'', we'll be treated to ''every day, it's a gett'in closer" _________________ "I wish I was where I was, when I wished I was where I am now!" |
