Beautiful weekend on tap here in Minnesota - coffee is brewing and I am contemplating my chore list today. I picked up a Zoom H2 recording device and I will be trying it out at rehearsal this morning. This should help me learn leads and riffs allowing me to bring home the music - I am excited at the possibilities.
I hope everyone is has a wonderful day filled with music and joy.......keep the amp warm and your guitar close at hand.
Also, keep Troublecall, the Fort Hood soldiers and their families, and all people dealing with great sadness in your hearts and prayers.......
Music always seems to help one heal, don't you think? _________________ "For me its like drinking water....my way of communicating with the world". Drink Deeply my friends....... |

Nice sentiments, Beaubs.
I hope everyone here has a great day.
My thoughts will be with all those dealing with the tragedy of Fort Hood as well.
Its 23 degrees here in NJ and me and the girlfriend are heading out to go fossil hunting for a few hours. Should go up to 55 today which is good, because I think she's gonna have me in a creek. That's what I get for going with a grad school geology major. _________________ Fender CP 50s Strat - burst

Good morning All!!!! Well today we are sitting here at 1155 having our first cup of coffee... I was up until 3am playing so we slept in. I am making my gorgeous wife my breakfast special sausage, egg and cheese on a toasted english muffin with my home brewed coffee. Then it is off to Macys to get her the Kitchen Aide Mixer she has been wanting. Then it is to Home Depot for a new filter for my shopvac and a new lithium drill. Then...I am off until thursday so it is playing and recording and just enjoying the time with my wife! Have a great day!

Spent the morning and early afternoon at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel at Broward Teachers Union Steward training. The hotel is a cool place for all of you musicians...there are some incredible Jim Marshall photos all over the walls, as well as the usual Rock artifacts. Good food..teachers LOVE to eat, especially when it's free!
Had to return some unused exotic woods to Woodcraft, but ended up buying a Porter-Cable 5" Orbital sander. Right now, I'm trying to think what I can eat...the bachelor's life.
Here's a photo I bought in NYC this past summer...a shot of Hendrix done by Roz Kelly. Before playing Pinky Tuscadero on Happy Days, she was a photographer for New York Magazine...this is from one of her assignments
...I've seen some nice Jim Marshalls in the Morrison Hotel Gallery in the city. _________________
