I have a bunch of fenders but just picked up this danelectro dc-3 black and silver sparkle, so i thought it would be cool to have a matching amp. well after a stop to joan fabrics and the hardware store, i started refinishing the amp and heres what can of all this hard work.

the guitar sounds great. I was really suprized at the different sound combos this guitar ris capable of, there is a 6 way selector switch and a full blown all 3 pick up switch. The position 1, bridge 2, bridge and middle, 3, middle, 4 middle and neck, 5 neck , 6 neck and bridge. Go on youtubbe there is a video of the dc3 danelectro and he goes through all the sounds.

Awesome! I love Danelectro's. Is the entire tolex finished in the sparkle, or just the front? It's hard for me to tell in the pic. I'm also severely colorblind, so it might be obvious to most folks.

The pic isnt the greatest but i am really not a photographer, the whole amp is covered and matches pretty close. The guitar is black and silver sparkle and the covering is silver sparkle and dark grey, but really not noticable. i will get better pics up soon, gonna take a pic in the sun light.

Thats cool indeed. And nicely finished too, which is tricky on nasty things like amp corners..

But of course, even cooler than your 'his n hers' matching combination is your extremely funny signature avatar, that made me laugh out loud.
