Fender presents "An Evening with Robert Knight and Tyler Bryant" at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, at the Grammy Museum in Los Angles.
At the event, guests will be treated to a forum with legendary rock photographer Knight and 18-year-old Texas guitar sensation Bryant, who will conclude the 90-minute presentation with a performance. Guests will also see an extended trailer for Rock Prophecies, a documentary about Knight in which Bryant appears.
Knight's amazing career as an acclaimed rock photographer began in 1968; he has shot everyone from Zeppelin, the Stones, Hendrix and Clapton back then to Panic at the Disco, Maroon 5 and John Mayer today. Rock Prophecies tells the story of how Knight "discovered" Bryant, then 16, whom the photographer considered "the next Stevie Ray Vaughan."
Bryant has earned widespread acclaim as a youthful guitar virtuoso whose talent quickly evolved from electric blues into a much more varied and versatile musical vocabulary. He started playing guitar at age seven and showed terrific natural ability; Bryant has since won a slew of awards and accolades and is considered by many as one of modern music's most promising guitarists.
The Grammy Museum is located at 800 Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. 90015. For further information online, visit www.grammymuseum.org.
