Back in 1987, Fender launched the American Standard Series, and it quickly became Fender's flagship line for serious artists and players.

Recently, Fender replaced the venerable line with the all-new American Professional Series, a line that features 92 different electric guitars and basses with a number of innovative enhancements.

The newly designed Stratocasters, Telecasters, Jazzmasters, Jaguars, Precision Basses and Jazz Basses are all made at the Fender factory in Corona, Calif., and you can take a behind-the-scenes look at that process in this exclusive slideshow.
