Did you know that you don't always have to tune your guitar to EADGBE?
Yes, there is a long history of why that is considered "standard tuning," but there are alternate tunings that can unlock even more doors as you progress as a guitar player, both on acoustic and electric guitars.
"Some songs use tunings other than standard so that common chord shapes sound different," said Fender Play instructor Matt Lake.
