What’s an affiliate?

As an approved Fender affiliate, you will be able to place text links and banners on your site or digital promotions that will direct visitors to Fender Play or Fender Shop. For every visitor you refer that signs up for Fender Play, you earn a commission. For every purchase you drive on Fender Shop, you earn a commission.

What are the commission rates?

Commission rates are determined on a case-by-case basis. Once you’ve filled out your application, please contact [email protected] to be assigned a commission rate.

What does it cost to join the Fender affiliate program?

The Fender affiliate program is free. We pay you.

Why partner with Fender?

You’ll be partnering with the most trusted brand in guitars. You’ll have the opportunity to use pre-approved marketing materials directly from Fender to help drive business to your site.

What is the relationship between Partnerize and Fender?

Partnerize has partnered with Fender to provide the program’s technology. They handle the tracking, reporting, and payment distribution for the program.

How are memberships tracked and credited to me?

Each affiliate link will contain a unique Affiliate ID specific to you. Every time a customer signs up for Fender Play or purchases on Fender Shop after clicking on your affiliate link, we will credit your account.

What kind of links can I use?

We have a variety of text links and banner links available that will be updated routinely, depending on our different seasonal promotions. You can find these in the Creative tab of your affiliate dashboard, once you login.

Where can I place these links?

You can place these links on your website homepage, product pages, blog posts, email newsletters, or social media channels. For any other promotional methods, please contact [email protected] for approval.

How do I know if my links are working?

If your links are tracking clicks, you are in good shape. You can check this by navigating to the Reporting tab → Performance sub-tab → Group By “Clicks” → Set your date range on the top right-hand corner of the reporting table.

Where do I set up my Payment Settings?

Go to the Settings tab → Payment sub-tab → Click on the green button labeled, Add Payment Method.

Is there a minimum threshold I must reach before releasing payment?

There is a minimum funds threshold which must be reached before you can release funds from the console. As standard, this threshold is $30 USD (or equivalent in other currencies). You can also set your own minimum threshold in the Settings tab → Payment sub-tab, in case you don’t want funds to be released unless the minimum threshold is met.

Is there a way I can set up an automatic payment release?

Yes, you do have the option to set up an Auto Selfbill. This is done when setting up a payment method in the Settings tab → Payment sub-tab → Add Payment Method window. Enter all the fields. At the bottom of the Add Payment Method window, there is an "Auto Selfbill/Payment Required" box to tick to set up automated payments.

Automated payments can be set up with a minimum threshold (based on your paid currency), by a certain date each month, or both.

Please note payment will only be made available once Partnerize has received the funds from Fender. If the automated option is not selected, you will need to release payment on a manual basis.

How can I tell if a communication from Fender's affiliate program is authentic?

FMIC is aware of fraudulent activities by individuals falsely claiming to represent FMIC's affiliate program.

All communications from FMIC related to its affiliate program will come from @fender.com, @partnerize.com, @phgsupport.com, or @gen3marketing.com email addresses.

Any such communications purporting to be from FMIC but originating from any other email address does not represent FMIC and may be fraudulent. FMIC will never ask for payment or financial information in connection with an application to participate in its affiliate program. Please exercise caution.

If you have any questions or concerns about the legitimacy of a communication from FMIC, please do not respond to the communication and instead contact [email protected]. You may also report fraudulent communications to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission at www.reportfraud.ftc.gov.
