From late-night and daytime sets to in-studio visits and digital exclusives, Fender in Focus gathers the best of the week's performances from Fender players.

This week: pop-punk pioneers Green Day, indie-rock legends Spoon, Los Angeles tropical quartet Chicano Batman and U.K. singer/songwriter L.A. Salami.

Green Day: "Still Breathing"

Late last year, Green Day appeared on Ellen, marking their first-ever daytime television appearance. They continued their run of TV performances recently by making their debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The legendary band continued to support their latest album, Revolution Radio, with the track "Still Breathing." Of course, bassist Mike Dirnt had one of his signature Precision Basses in hand, as well.

Spoon: "Hot Thoughts"

Spoon's latest album, Hot Thoughts, has been earning the Austin band both critical and commercial acclaim, and they recently played all their new songs in a set for Santa Monica, Calif., station KCRW. With frontman Britt Daniel rocking his Telecaster Thinline, watch Spoon play the record's title track here.

Chicano Batman: "Flecha Al Sol"

Los Angeles four-piece Chicano Batman showcased tracks off their 2017 album, Freedom is Free, with a set for Portland's Oregon Public Broadcasting. One of those songs was the soul-tinged "Flecha Al Sol", which saw frontman Bardo Martinez playing a Sunburst Telecaster.

L.A. Salami: "Day To Day (For 6 Days A Week)"

British singer Lookman Adekunle Salami, who performs as L.A. Salami, was featured by NPR at the annual South by Southwest music festival. Standing on a balcony overlooking downtown Austin, Salami fingerpicked a PM-2 Deluxe Parlor while he sang "Day to Day (For 6 Days a Week)" off his debut album, Dancing With Bad Grammar.
